Welcome to the Machine Vision and Intelligence Laboratory (MaVILab) @ UFV

We are a research group focused on Computer Vision and Machine Intelligence (MaVILab - Machine Vision and Intelligence Laboratory) of the Department of Informatics (DPI) at Universidade Federal de Viçosa (UFV). The lab is located in Viçosa, MG, Brazil.

Our research interests involve the capture, processing and analysis of visual data, as well as the use of computational intelligence for problem solving, whether applied problems or the development of new methodologies.

To this end, we propose and evaluate the development of methods, algorithms and tools for Machine Intelligence and Computer Vision that allow us to advance scientific knowledge and propose solutions to complex problems through a multidisciplinary approach.
